screw the status quo. we need change and we need it now. we need not a leader who plays with words and public funds. we need not a leader whose years of service fall under the 'fiction' category. we definitely need not a leader who knows nothing. we require a leader who has conviction, who has the guts to change the seemingly unchangeable. we need... to prepare for 2007. Now.

Katie the pinup girl

It's always a great thrill to know that a famous artist has featured your very own portrait. Remember "I would like you to draw me like one of your French girls wearing this... only this." It's not about allowing people to draw you... it's about knowing and appreciating how people see you in their own unique way.

Thanks, Jonas, for the very very nice masterpiece. I've just printed and put it in a nice frame. Teehee.

The story unfolds

Remember this blog's past entries"His Story Begins" and "The story begins"? These are actually chapters from a book that Elmo and I have been working on for the past years.

It's a boy-meets-girl trilogy. The first story is about how a sassy girl met this suicidal boy on the edge of a Mine's View Park cliff. The second story happens thirty years after that, when a Greek Goddess named Future noticed how these two souls are severely intertwined by time, in time. Thus, she decided to challenge the couple's fate through death. The saga ends with the third, where a question common to the two preceding stories is finally answered: Why the two are inseparable, even by fate itself.

All three parts are on the works yet, and we have yet to decide whether or not to come up with a comicbook (ala-Arnold Arre's "After Eden"... I wish!) or just come up with a trilogy novel. It all depends on the budget, the time we have for the project, and the inspiration. At least, for now, I have finally made my concept of the book cover real. :) Next in line: Wicked Fate website.

By the way, click on the book cover to reveal the supposed back cover of the comicbook. teeheeheee.... I hope you like it, cuz I looooove it so much I can't stop staring at it. :))
